Hello, my name is

Josh Wilger.

I create visual software.

I'm a software engineer passionate for games, web development, and contracting projects. As I hope to eventually program in the game industry, I love working on projects based around a community and building visually stunning virtual spaces.

Although I am not looking for work right now, I always am open for conversations! Feel free to get in touch with me here!

About Me

Thanks for checking out my portfolio! My name is Josh and I enjoy developing interactive, visual software, which means I like making intricate software that is visually appealing through the use of graphics, design, and user experience.

My programming journey started with Python courses in high school and playing around with some technical features of Minecraft, and now has become a fascination for creating the logic behind visually appealing games, websites, and apps.

In May of 2022, I completed my B.S. in Computer Science and Information Sciences at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. At the end of my senior year, I finished a nine-month internship atGreen Bay Packaging, having my mind set on pursuing programming less business-facing software, which became a reality when I stepped into my current role at 1 & Fund.

Other than programming, I enjoy creating fascinating structures in Minecraft and interacting with its community. I also love to journal, do sports or nature things outdoors, and create music occasionally in FL Studio.

Here's a list technologies I’ve been working with recently:

  • .NET Core
  • TypeScript
  • Unity
  • C#
  • React
  • OpenAI API
